The National Open University Lagos has honored a prominent
armed robbers hunter Alhaji Ali Kwara with Doctorate Degree in appreciation of
his effort in protecting lives and Property in Nigeria.

Briefing newsmen in Bauchi after he returned to Bauchi from
Lagos where he received the award of
Doctorate Degree of letters, Alhaji Ali Kwara said the award encourages him to
continue with his work of protecting lives and property and selfless service to
humanity.
He lamented on the proliferation of arms which he
attributed to our porous border and purchasing of the arms by overzealous
politicians and appeal to philanthropist and wealthy individuals to help youth
with employment in order to eradicate poverty.
Ali Kwara said despite all the challenges armed robbery
cases had reduced in the country and advised People occupying leadership
position in the country that are supporting crimes and criminality to ch
He commended late President Umaru
Yar'adua,Bauchi,Jigawa,Adamawa,Taraba, Sokoto, Zamfara state Governors and the
FCT minister for supporting his effort in protecting lives and Properties in
their States and the Country at large.
The award recipient
advised leaders at all levels to create Job opportunities to the Youth as part
of deliberate effort to curb youths restiveness and encourages Youths to engage
themselves in skill acquisition and not to allow themselves to be used by
overzealous Politicians to break law and order.
