COMPETITION
Youths in Kirfi Local Government have been advised to unite themselves
for the development of the Local Government and Bauchi State at large.

The Chairman
National Union of Local Government Employees, Kirfi Local Government Comrade
Safiyanu Abdullahi (Danruwatan Dewu); who represented the Honourable Member
representing Kirfi Local Government in the State House of Assembly, Honourable
Abdulkadir Umar Dewu (Dallatun Dewu) in the opening ceremony of a football
competition tagged “Dallatun Dewu International Football Competition”.

Abdullahi said, organizing such competition among youths, will no doubt
strengthen the cordial relationship and unity among youth in the Local
Government.
He said, the
Honourable Member representing Kirfi Local Government in State House of Assembly
did not make it, due to an official engagement, but promised to attend the
closing ceremony of the tournament.

He thanked
the organizers of the tournament saying “this will strengthen the unity among
our teaming youths”.
Comrade
Safiyanu said, the Honourable Member promised each team that registered in the
tournament a football, and promised a set of jersey and a football to teams
that came first, second and third place respectively.
He therefore
called on the organizers as well as the players, to play safe and avoid any
thing that will lead to violence, as the completion is aimed at uniting the
youth in the area.
Contributing,
Adamu M. Yahaya who represented the co-coordinator of the tournament, said the
competition is tagged “Dallatun Dewu International Football Competition” in honor
of the Hon. member representing Kirfi Local Government in the state House of
Assembly, Honourable Abdulkadir Umar Dewu (Dallatun Dewu) for his contribution to the positive development of Kirfi Local
Government.

Yahaya appealed to various teams to observe strictly the rules and regulations
of the tournament for the success of the competition.
He said, the
organizing committee will do justice, to ensure that all registered teams are
given equal right throughout the tournament.
He prayed
for the successful completion of the tournament.
