The Bauchi state sector command of the Federal Road Safety Commission has opened its new office in Bara area of Kirfi local government.  
The Unit commander of the federal road safety commission Bara unit Mal. Naziru Salisu disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit to BRC FM Kirfi.
Naziru salisu said, the aim of their visit to the radio station is to inform the general public on the commissions’ new office at Bara area of the local government.
He said, the Bauchi state sector command of the Federal Road Safety Commission deemed it necessary to open a unit command in Bara area of the local government to curb the rate of motor accident along the Bauchi-Gombe federal highway.
He appealed to people of the area to give them maximum cooperation in the discharge of their duties.
  The new unit commander urged the people in the area to desist from committing road use offences like; over-speeding, taking-excessive loads, and refusal to put on seat belt among others.
  Malam Naziru Salisu commended the management of BRC FM, Kirfi for assisting the commission in creating awareness to the general public on road use and safety measures to avert road accidents.
Ealier, in his welcome address the area manager of BRC FM, Kirfi Alh. Sirajo Ma’aji, commended the unit commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, for visiting the radio station.
Alh. Surajo Ma’aji said, the commission has done a great work in reducing road accident along the Bauchi-Gombe federal highway.
He promised to continue to assist the commission in creating awareness to the general public on road use.
Alh. Surajo Ma’aji thanked the unit commander and his entourage for the visit, and promised to help the commission whenever the need arises.
