An appealed has been to wards and
villages heads in Beni District to be security conscious.

The District Head of Beni Alhaji
Barau Sule Beni made the appeal during a self—help project of constructing a
Local bridge that link the area with other communities of the Local
Government.
Alhaji Barau Sule Beni said security
issues are everybody business and urged people of the area to report any
unidentified person to the nearest authority.
He said since his inception as the
Distrcit Head of Beni, the area has never witness any security threats as a
result of a security measures taken by his council.
Alhaji Barau Sule Beni said, the area
is left behind in the area of education and infrastructural development.
He therefore appealed to parents to
enrol their school aged children to schools to complement the effort of the
education committee set by the District Head.
He appealed to the three tiers of
government to provide a good access road to the area by constructing a bridge
that linked the area with other communities.
Alhaji Barau said, yearly the people
of the area normally embark on self help project of constructing the bridge
locally using millet and Guinea corn sticks to enable cars enter the area.
He said the people of the area are
facing a lot of problems in transporting their farm products to market by
constructing the bridge locally will greatly reduced the difficulty experience
by farmers in the area.
He said the essence of the bridge
repair was in preparation to receive the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu
Sulaiman Adamu on his ongoing tour to the District Head.
He thanked the people of the area for
their communal efforts in constructing the Local Bridge across the river that
separate the area with other communities in the Local Government.
Contributing, Wazirin Beni, Malam
Muhammad Suleiman appealed to government to construct a bridge that will link
the area with other part of the Local Government.
Malam Muhammad Sulaiman said, for the
past thirty years, the people of the area construct a bridge using millet and
Guinea sticks to enable cars enter the area to transport farm produce.
He said the people of the area are
farmers, hence government should provide the area with access road to enable
farmers in the area transport their farm product to markets.

Ladan Shango, thanked the teeming Youths that came out in their large number
to see the success of the project.
He therefore appealed to the three ties of government to provide the communities in the area a good access roads and schools for the development of the area and state at large.
