NEWS: DONATION


DONATION
The member representing Kirf and Alkaleri local governments in the federal house of representative, Hon. Tukur Adamu has donated textiles materials and other food items to Christian community in Kirfi local government in line with the spirit of Christmas celebration.

BRC FM, Kirfi reports that, the donated items include textiles materials, and Three Bags of rice.

Presenting the items, the state PDP Assistant Financial Secretary, Alh. Maikudi Usman (Jarman Cheledi) said, that the gesture was aimed at assisting the Christian community in the area to celebrate Christmas.

Alh. Maikudi said, it was also intended to enhance Christian-Muslim brotherhood and peaceful co-existence in the local government.

He advised Christians in the area to live in peace and engage in businesses capable of contributing to the development of the local government area.

Responding, Pastor Iliya Ibrahim who is also the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Kirfi local government branch who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed appreciation for the gesture.

Pastor Iliya Ibrahim thanked the Hon. Member representing kirfi and Alkaleri constituency in the federal house of representative, Hon. Tukur Adamu for assisting the Christian community in the local government.

He said, this is not the first time the Hon. Member is donating relief materials to Christian community in the area.

He said since his assumption as member representing kirfi and Alkaleri in the federal house of representative, they have been enjoying such assistance from him during Christmas celebration.

He said, Hon. Tukur Adamu has displayed the quality of a good leader that lead his people without showing any sign of favoritism.

He prayed for the peaceful co-existence of Kirfi local government and the state at large.

Also contributing, Pasto Ayuba Sama’ila thanked the member for donating such relief materials to the Christian community in the local government.

Pastor Ayuba appealed to the Muslim and Christian communities in the area to continue living in peace with one another for the development of the area and the state at large.

He assured that, the items would be Judiciously distributed.
