NULGE
The chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Kirfi local government, Comrade Safiyanu Abdullahi (Dan ruwatan Dewu) expresses satisfaction with the effort of the local government council in promoting 213 staff.

Comrade Safiyanu Abdullahi made the commendation when he visited BRC FM, Kirfi.
He said, staff promotion is one of the benefits of every civil servant.

The chairman said, although some of the staff spends years without promotion.

He therefore commended the effort of the chairman care-taker committee kirfi local government, Alh. Garba Sabo Bara and members of his council for the gesture.
 
He said, before, every staff is charged before promoting him, but now, no kobo was charged from any staff in the name of promotion.

Comrade Safiyanu also commended the relentless effort of the chairman care-taker committee in ensuring that, all staff claim are been paid without delay.

He urged the care-taker committee to take immediate action in providing portable water for staff in the local government secretariat to enable them discharge their duties effectively.

He said, lack of water in the local government secretariat affect working activities of staff in the local government.

He assured the entire staff of their readiness to work hard towards ensuring that all their right and privileges are given to them.

The chairman said, the promotion of senior staff is under way as their files have been submitted to the local government service commission for consideration.
He therefore urged all staff to be updating their records at regular intervals to avoid misfortunes.
Contributing, the deputy Chairman Nigeria Union of local government employees, kirfi local government comrade Lamaran Maikudi Kirfi, commended the local government council for fulfilling most of the its promises made to the union.

Comrade Lamaran said, this will enable the staff to discharge their duties effectively.
He urged the local government staff to discharge their duties diligently to complement the effort of the local government council.

He thanked the members of the association for the kind support they are giving to the executive arm of the union.

Comrade Maikudi said, the union will soon organize a convention to discuss vital issues for the development of the local government.
