KYABI
The
Gar ward development committee in a joint effort with T-ship has embarked on a massive
public enlightenment campaign on the important of health care services to
pregnant women and children under the age of five.
The chairman Gar ward elopement committee,
Malam Sulaima Abubakar disclosed this to BRC FM Kirfi reporter during
the enlightenment campaign rally held in kyabi village of Alkaleri local
government.
Malam
Suaiman Abubakar said, the aim of the vast public enlightenment campaign is to
sensitive the general public on various health care services especially for
pregnant women and children under the age of five.
He
said the massive public enlightenment campaign will also sensitive pregnant
woman and nursing mothers on the important of breastfeeding.
Malam
Suaiman Abubakar said, breast milk contains a very important nutrient that
helps babies in fighting against disease in their tender age.
He
urged nursing mothers to breast feed their babies for the well being of the children.
He
also charge parent and other participants to make use of birth spacing, and
urged pregnant mothers to always attend hospitals for anti natal care.

FM Kirfi correspondent reports that, the enlightenment campaign also include a
rally in Kyabi village with various participants carrying Banners sensitizing
the general public on the important of health care services in the area.
On e of the participants Mr. Ayuba Chiroma
thanked the ward development committee for organizing the campaign rally on
health care services in the area.
Mr.
Ayuba Chiroma, also commended the entire people of Kyabi village for attending
the enlightment campaign rally in the village. He prayed for the continues existence
of peace and harmony in the country.
Ealier, in his welcome address, the village head
of Kyabi, represented by Malam Nuhu Usman thanked the Gar ward development
committee and TShip for their effort in embarking on a massive enlightment
campaign in the area.
Malam
Nuhu Usman thanked the people of Kyabi Village for their cooperation for making
the campaign exercise a success.
