Hundreds of Muslims and Christians held a special prayer session toward intercede for Nigeria to avoid imminent danger and prayer peaceful core existence among the citizens in Bogoro local government area of Bauchi state  

The Chairman Christian Association CAN Bogoro Chapter Rev. Joshia Yakubu Tukur has expressed the need for a national peace prayer session, yesterday at the COCCIN church Bogoro that the aim is to intercede for peace in  Bogoro LGA , Bauchi state and Nigeria.

According to him, by his special grace God would soon dismantle forces of darkness working against peace, unity and development of Nigeria, calling on Nigerians to embrace one another in love and work for peace of the nation.

Yakubu Tukur used the occasion to caution politicians to refrain from overheating the nation’s polity, saying the on-going political situation in the country portend danger to the peace and unity of Nigeria.

Speaking  also the Chief Imam of Bogoro Central Mosque Suleiman Shekarau   has disclosed that same was held in Bauchi the capital noting that we will not relent in our effort to continue to pray for the peaceful core existence of the country ,

Imam Shekarau said prayers is the weapon left for us to put this country together and love one another irrespective of our religious background 

He then urged Muslims to unite themselves and seek for Forgiveness of their sins in order to have Allah's mercy

Also speaking the suspended female lawmaker representing Bogoro constituency Hon.  Rifkatu Samson Danna expresses appreciation to her constituents for initiating this prayer session for the country.

She said even though she is presenting through difficulties as a result of her suspension but promised to work for the victory of PDP within her constituency and the state at large and urged her constituents to remain calm in the face of the adversity that they are facing.
