The Bauchi state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) said it will organize a training workshop for Teachers in Kirfi local government to equip them with the modern and easier methods of Teaching.

The permanent commissioner I, Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board, Alh. Muhammad Isah Narabi disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman care-taker committee Kirfi local government in his office.

Alh. Muhammad Narabi said, the aim of the training workshop is to equip the teachers with enhanced knowledge and skills which will impact on the pupils and students positively in their grasp for knowledge.

He said, the major problems facing the education sector in the state is from the teachers. 

“This reason why the sate universal Basic education Board deemed it necessary to organize the training for the teachers in the area to equip them with the modern methods of imparting knowledge to pupils and students” he said.

Muhammad Narabi urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the training to “equip themselves with modern methods of teaching” so as to make it easier for students to understand.

He also urged parents to give priority to the education of their children, to facilitate their education and empower them to contribute their quota to the state as well as national development.

He also appealed to the Local government council to assist them with relevant advice and supervision during the training to ensure the success of the programme in the area.

In his remark, the chairman care-taker committee Kirfi local government Alh. Garba Sabo Bara, assured the Board of his council readiness to ensure the success of the programme.

Alh. Garba Sabo, who said education, is the bedrock for any nation’s meaningful development, promised to supervise the training workshop.

He appealed to the state Universal Basic Education Board to make adequate posting of teachers to the area.

He also appealed to the Board to recruit the National Certificate of Education (N.C.E) holders in the area.

Alh. Garba Sabo Bara applauded the malam Dr. Isah Yuguda lead administration for his effort towards the development education in the state.

Contributing, the education secretary Kirfi local government Mrs. Amina Isaac Zailani expresses satisfaction with the training and advice the beneficiaries to use this ample opportunity to equip themselves with knowledge.

  Mrs. Amina Zailani said, the training workshop will enhance the teaching standard in the area.

She said, the local government educatio9n authority will everything possible to ensure that tea hers in the area attend the training workshop to improve on the standard of education in the area.

She commended the chairman care-taker committee Kirfi local government for his effort towards improving the standard of education in the area.
